Cordless Handheld Vacuum - ODM.

One of the countless projects we have done for a long running client was this ODM handheld vacuum. The brief was very open: it had to be ODM, use any companies' battery packs and utilise the existing tech pack.

Concept Generation.

The blue pencil got sharpened and the sketching commenced. Due to the tight schedule and budget, we got straight into CAD, took the client on the design journey directly from the screen. Generated renders and CAD modelled for tooling.

Design and ergonomics.

To satisfy the brief, the battery location area was left with a lot of room. This allows for the customer to use their own design of battery pack. The handle has a large swooping rear section, this gives the user a comfortable grip when using the extended vac tube.
